Four weeks. Make your mark.

Pick a clear goal with your supervisor. Track what you contribute, ask for feedback and capture the result. Those details make stronger interview stories. Use your Work Passport as evidence, and get permission before sharing workplace material.

Your questions, answered.

Is the placement paid?

Yes—all four weeks. Funding comes from the host employer or Jobcentre Plus support where eligible. Before accepting, confirm your pay, hours, payer and payment dates with PeopleXYZ.

Does it cost me anything?

No. Innovate UK funds recruitment, assessment, matching, interviews, programme platform access and placement support.

What happens after the four weeks?

You decide together whether to continue. Any job offered through the programme must be at least six months, with at least 25 hours a week at or above the Living Wage. A job is not guaranteed; your Work Passport is still yours to take forward.

What is a Work Passport?

Your skills, backed by evidence: a verified record of your assessment, placement work, reviews and outcome. Use it in applications and interviews.

Where do I need to be based?

Opportunities are with employers in London and the East of England. PeopleXYZ can confirm location, travel and in-person requirements for each role.

Who's behind this?

PeopleXYZ and CloudFO, funded by Innovate UK under the TechLocal competition (project 10196626), supported by the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology.
